For Individuals, couples or small groups – experience advised but not essential
On occasions throughout the year, Omegasail puts on something special for our keenest sailors and beginners alike, bringing several yachts together for a ‘flotilla’ style regatta and social. These are extremely popular with some 30+ guests and friends, many of whom are returning customers. In the early and late season (early April, late October) we move part of our fleet out to and back from the seasonal bases, so this requires a one way ‘delivery’ mission, which we love to do ‘en masse’. From Corfu back to Athens via the Corinth Canal, or Athens out to the Dodecanese via Mykonos or Santorini, there is something special to see on each journey. Come and share the excitement, camaraderie and team building as you join our event, successfully moving yachts some 250-300 miles in one week! For those of you building towards higher sailing qualifications, such as RYA Yachtmaster, there are opportunities during these trips to gain night hours, time in the role of Skipper, and 60+ mile qualifying passages. Warning: these can be challenging, but the thrill of planning a passage and executing it for real makes for a wonderfully rewarding experience. Usually we provide the Skippers, but it has been known for guests to take their own yacht bareboat for this, sailing in close proximity and knowing our professional Lead Skippers are close at hand.
